Hannukah begins this Shabbat, Friday, December 11th 2009, at sundown. Dress warm and bring extra blankets if staying at the shul. Recent weather has temperatures in the negatives, and snowy roads are the norm. Hope to see you there!

The following is the Pesach 2009 Schedule, as well as additional short articles regarding What is Chametz (What about Yeast?), Other Areas of Consideration, and Cooking on a Yom Tov, and the prohibition of cooking on a weekly Shabbat. We should have all of the special inclusions regarding Pesach for this year covered in this post. Please note this year we do the Birkat HaChamah which is only done once every 28 years.
